I dunno why wikipedia said this: It was the 10th worst reviewed film of 2006. I thought it was good. That's the reason for the 5 stars.

Weird parts were:
1. The dragon flew up into the sky and grew damn big and she spoke. Alright, obviously she will have to speak if not the whole show will be boring.
2. The dragon can read the thoughts of the dragon rider (Eragon) and they communicated by that.
3. Whole fighting set-up was like LOTR
4. The dragon sounded like Eragon's girlfriend when she talked to him -.^ She had a very warm and sexy tone though.. It was Rachel Weisz btw

Nice parts:
1. The dragon was filial to her dragon rider.
2. Brom was like a guardian to Eragon.
3. Eragon is cute! (: alright, at least in the show..

My top 2 favourite phrases of the show were said by:
1. Saphira - You choose a leader for his heart
2. Murtagh - Some friends can't be replaced

Alright, it's supposed to be a romance comedy. But it was like, oh well, abit here and there la. If you get what I mean... Romance scene then comedy. Switched kinda fast but the young girl was so funny and quite witty. Interrogated her dad and that's how the story came about. The one he loved has always been right in front his eyes but he looked everywhere for love. He then realised that it was her.

Gee, the main actor looks like my cousin when he was young. I guess it's the hair. But the main actor is considered good-looking. If they were to get a not-so good-looking actor, the movie would start to get boring. I realised that Isla Fisher looks pretty on the poster.

From imdb.com: Will Hayes, a 30-something Manhattan dad is in the midst of a divorce when his 10 year old daughter, Maya, starts to question him about his life before marriage. Maya wants to know absolutely everything about how her parents met and fell in love. Will's story begins in 1992, as a young, starry-eyed aspiring politician who moves to New York from Wisconsin in order to work on the Clinton campaign. For Maya, Will relives his past as a idealistic young man learning the ins and outs of big city politics, and recounts the history of his romantic relationships with three very different women. On the campaign, Will's best buddy is Russell McCormack. They not only have similar political aspirations, they share the same type of girl problems, too. Will hopelessly attempts a "PG" version of his story for his daughter ad changes the names so Maya has to guess who he finally married. Is her mother Will's college sweetheart, the dependable girl next-door Emily? Is she his longtime best friend and confidante, he apolitical April? Or is she the free-spirited but ambitious journalist? As Maya puts together the pieces of her dad's romantic puzzle, she begins to understand that love is not so simple or easy. And as Will tells her his tale, Maya helps him to understand that it's definitely never too late to go back...and maybe even possible to find a happy ending.

Watch it, it's worth $7, not 8. Heh.

I think this CD is a lot better than my baobei CD - Riot! which is sadly broken (poor quality. tsk..)

I'm getting quite bored with Paramore's songs even though they are nice. But OneRepublic's lyrics are a lot more meaningful (: OneRepublic shows variety.

Darn, too bad the CD isn't mine...

Its genre is drama and romance.

I would take away 0.25 stars for the anti-climax scenes. Haha.

Caught it with Sarah, Grace, Kristy and Christabel yesterday. Supposed to catch the 4.35pm show at PS and OMG the queue was damn long. I deliberately went over to the phone booking and asked the lady at the counter how many seats are left for this show. Shucks man, left the first row. Oh wells.. Left PS and walked over to The Grand Cathay. Guess what? Looked rather empty. Well, we got seats slightly below eye level BUT at least it's way way better than first row seats. Hur...

You wanna cry or tear in this show, feel free to do so. I bet all of us did cry uh.. Wiping off the tears at the end of the show. Haha. But there were some anti-climax scenes. Like Li-Ann (Wong Li Lin) left the party in her red dress and waited for Jeremy (Ananda Everingham) in the rain. Then a guy came over * smacks forehead* it was KS (Qi Yu Wu) killed my tears la. I bet we were are waiting for that moment Jeremy would come over and meet her then KS came. *bangs head against the wall*

Ending was weird like what Sarah said. But they played 4 Corrinne May songs! Woots! =D I was singing softly along with the songs. Heh. Actually I kinda liked the other non-Corrinne May song that they played. I think it was written locally. I think the director loves Corrinne May's songs. Haha.

My favorite scene would be Li-Ann, in her wedding gown, running along the Esplanade Bridge in the rain. I saw the making of The Leap Years on TV and they actually had this crane to let the water pour down on the bridge to make it look like it's raining. Basically it's artificial rain.

I would say this is one the best local films I've ever watched. Well, comparing the Singlish in Jack Neo's films to this one, The Leap Years is excellent when it comes to language ;)
